Agampreet meaning
Agampreet (ਅਗਮਪ੍ਰੀਤ) is a Sikh unisex name of Punjabi origin, used for both girls and boys.
Agam (unreachable; in Gurbani, God) joined with prīti (love)
Also used to mean: lover of God, one who loves God
Agampreet (ਅਗਮਪ੍ਰੀਤ) joins agam and prīt. The Mahan Kosh gives agam, from Sanskrit agamya, as that which cannot be reached and which the intellect cannot grasp; in the Guru Granth Sahib it is a frequent name for God, for example on Ang 10. Prīt is love. Name lists render the whole as "lover of God" or "one who loves God", which is the devotional sense of the parts. The name is used for boys and girls, alongside Agamjot.
