Saket (साकेत) is Sanskrit sāketa, which Monier-Williams records as a name of the city of Ayodhyā, and probably of other cities too; in the plural it means the people of Sāketa. Ayodhyā is Rāma's capital in the Rāmāyaṇa, which gives the name its link with Rama, and Maithili Sharan Gupt titled his Hindi epic of the Ramayana household, centred on Urmila, Saket. Name lists often gloss the name as "Lord Krishna" or "heaven". We could not find either sense in the dictionaries, so they appear to be modern meanings.
