Sachi meaning
Sachi (शची) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Mighty help, grace, skill, eloquence; the wife of Indra
Sachi (शची) is the Sanskrit word śacī. In the Rigveda it means mighty help or aid, especially the help given by Indra and the Aśvins, and also kindness, favour, skill and the power of speech. In the Mahābhārata and later texts Śacī is the name of Indra's wife, also called Paulomī or Indrāṇī, and the Rigveda's Anukramaṇī names a Śacī Paulomī as the author of one hymn (10.159). Name lists give Sachi as "wife of Indra", "grace" or "eloquence", all of which match the dictionary. The name is spelled Sachi, Shachi or Saachi in English.
