Sapna meaning
Sapna (सपना) is a Hindu girl's name of Hindi origin (from Sanskrit svapna).
A dream, a vision; sleep
Sapna (सपना) is the everyday Hindi word for "a dream". Platts' Hindustani dictionary lists it, with the older form supnā, as "sleep; dreaming; a dream or vision", and traces it through Prakrit to Sanskrit svapna, which Monier-Williams glosses as "sleep" and "dreaming, a dream", a word found as far back as the Rigveda. Platts also records the compound sapnā-bicārī, an interpreter of dreams. Indian name lists give Sapna as "dream", matching the dictionaries. The Sanskrit form of the word, Swapna, is also used as a girls' name.
