Solomon meaning
Solomon is a Christian boy's name of Hebrew origin.
Peaceful
Also used to mean: man of peace
Solomon comes from Hebrew Shlomoh, which Strong's Concordance derives from shalom, 'peace', and translates 'peaceful'. The Bible links the name to the peace God promised during his reign. Solomon, son of King David and Bathsheba, asked God for wisdom rather than riches and became the proverbial wise king, judging between two mothers who claimed the same baby; he built the first Temple in Jerusalem, and tradition credits him with Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Songs. In India Solomon is used in Christian families.
