Valentina meaning
Valentina is an international and Christian girl's name of Latin origin.
Strong, healthy; from Latin valens, "strong, vigorous"
Valentina is the feminine form of Valentinus, the Latin name of St Valentine, an early Christian martyr of Rome whose feast on 14 February became a day for sweethearts. The Online Etymology Dictionary traces Valentinus to Latin valentia, "strength", from valens, "strong, stout, vigorous", from the verb valere, "to be strong" or "to be well". It is used across Italy, Spain, Russia and Latin America. The cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space in 1963. It is said val-en-TEE-nuh, and its meaning is close to Indian names such as Shakti and Bala.
