Bayan meaning
Bayan (بیان) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage), also used for boys.
Clearness; clear and eloquent speech, explanation
Also used to mean: clarity, eloquence
Bayan (بیان) is the Arabic word bayān, from the root b-y-n, "to be separate, distinct, clear". Lane's lexicon explains it as the state of being plain and the act of making something plain, which gives it the senses of explanation and of clear, eloquent speech. In the Quran, God "created man and taught him bayān" (55:3–4), and calls the Quran itself "a clear statement for mankind" (3:138). In Urdu, bayān is everyday speech for a statement or account. As a name it is used mostly for girls, and name lists give it as "clarity" or "eloquence".
