Fahima meaning
Fahima (فہیمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Having much understanding; intelligent
Also used to mean: perceptive, wise
Fahima (فہیمہ) is the feminine of Arabic fahīm, from the root f-h-m, "to understand". Lane's lexicon defines fahīm as one who has much understanding, an intensive form, and fahim as quick of understanding. The Quran uses the same root when it says "We made Solomon understand it" (21:79), of a difficult judgment. The boy's name Faheem is the masculine form. Name lists give Fahima as "intelligent" or "perceptive", in line with the dictionary. In India it is often spelled Faheema, keeping the long vowel.
