Muhsina meaning
Muhsina (محسنہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
One who does good; beneficent, kind (feminine of muḥsin)
Also used to mean: benevolent, doer of good
Muhsina (محسنہ) is the feminine of the Arabic muḥsin, from the root ḥ-s-n, which gives ḥusn, "beauty", and iḥsān, "doing good". Lane's lexicon defines muḥsin as one who does what is good, fine or pleasing. The Quran repeatedly says that God loves those who do good, al-muḥsinīn (2:195), and in Urdu a muḥsin is a benefactor to whom one owes thanks. Name lists give Muhsina as "benevolent" or "one who does good deeds", matching the dictionary. Mohsina Kidwai, a former Union minister, is a well-known bearer.
