Seerat meaning
Seerat (سیرت) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Way of life, conduct; character, nature, disposition; virtue, morals
Also used to mean: inner beauty, good character
Seerat (سیرت) is the Urdu form of Arabic sīra, from sāra, "to go". Lane's lexicon gives sīra as a manner of going, and then a way or manner of acting, of conduct or of life; al-sīra also names the biography of the Prophet. Platts's Urdu dictionary defines sīrat as conduct, character, nature and disposition, and also virtue and morals. Urdu often pairs ṣūrat, outward looks, with sīrat, inner character, which is why name lists give Seerat as "inner beauty" as well as "good character".
