Tayyaba meaning
Tayyaba (طیبہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Good, pleasant, sweet; pure, clean; a good thing
Also used to mean: virtuous
Tayyaba (طیبہ) is the Arabic ṭayyiba, the feminine of ṭayyib, as said in Urdu. Lane's lexicon defines ṭayyib as the opposite of khabīth, "foul": good, pleasant, delightful or sweet, and pure or clean; as a noun, ṭayyiba is a good or wholesome thing. The Quran speaks of a kalima ṭayyiba, a good word, likened to a good tree with firm roots (14:24). Ṭayba, from the same root, is a name of the city of Medina. Name lists give Tayyaba as "pure" or "good".
