Samiha meaning
Samiha (سمیحہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Liberal, bountiful, generous; from a root meaning to act gently and easily
Also used to mean: forgiving, gracious
Samiha (سمیحہ) is the feminine of Arabic samīḥ, from the root s-m-ḥ. Lane's lexicon gives samīḥ as another form of samḥ, liberal, bountiful, munificent or generous, and explains the root as giving freely out of generosity and also acting in an easy, gentle manner with others. Name lists give Samiha as "generous" or "forgiving"; "generous" is the dictionary sense, and "forgiving" is close to its gentle, easy-going side. The masculine form is Samih.
