Sara meaning
Sara (سارہ) is a Muslim, Christian and international girl's name of Hebrew origin.
Princess
Sara (سارہ) is the Arabic and Urdu form of Sarah, the wife of Abraham (Ibrāhīm) and mother of Isaac (Isḥāq). Strong's Concordance equates the Hebrew name with śārâ, "princess", and Britannica notes that her name was changed from Sarai to Sarah, "princess". The Quran refers to her as Abraham's wife without naming her: in 11:71 she laughs as angels bring the news that she will bear Isaac. Some name lists call Sara an Arabic name meaning "pure" or "happy"; we could not find support for either in the dictionaries, and the name's history runs through Hebrew. Jews, Christians and Muslims all honour Sarah as Abraham's wife and the mother of Isaac.
