Jumana meaning
Jumana (جمانہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
A silver bead shaped like a pearl; a pearl
Also used to mean: silver pearl
Jumana (جمانہ) is Arabic jumāna, the singular of jumān. Lane's lexicon defines jumān as beads of silver made in the shape of pearls, or, some say, pearls themselves, and records a woman's belt of leather set with beads of many colours. He adds that the word is said to come from Persian. Name lists give Jumana as "silver pearl" or simply "pearl", which fits the dictionary well. The name is used in the Arab world and by Muslim families in India.
