Adeeba meaning
Adeeba (ادیبہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Cultured, well-mannered and well-educated; a woman of letters
Also used to mean: refined, writer
Adeeba (ادیبہ) is the feminine of Adeeb, Arabic adīb, from adab. Lane's lexicon defines adab as discipline of the mind, good manners and every kind of training that leads to excellence, and adīb as one who has it: well-bred, polite, educated in refined pursuits, an elegant scholar. In Urdu adab came to mean literature, so an adīb or adība is also a writer. Name lists give Adeeba as "refined", "well-mannered" or "one with good character", which all follow the dictionary.
