Saleha meaning
Saleha (صالحہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Good, righteous, virtuous, upright, honest
Also used to mean: pious
Saleha (صالحہ) is the feminine of Arabic ṣāliḥ, from the root ṣ-l-ḥ, "to be good or sound". Lane's lexicon defines ṣāliḥ as good, incorrupt, right, just, righteous, virtuous or honest, and records ṣāliḥa as a noun meaning a good deed or a kindness done. The Quran often pairs faith with ṣāliḥāt, righteous deeds, and Ṣāliḥ is also the name of a prophet sent to the people of Thamud. Name lists give Saleha as "righteous", "virtuous" or "pious", in line with the dictionary.
