Marzia meaning
Marzia (مرضیہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Well-pleasing, found pleasing and approved (feminine of marḍiyy)
Also used to mean: pleasing to God, content
Marzia (مرضیہ) is the Arabic marḍiyya, pronounced with a z in Urdu and Persian, from the root r-ḍ-w, "to be pleased or content". Lane's lexicon defines marḍiyy as found pleasing, well-pleasing or satisfying. The word is loved for its place in Surah al-Fajr, where the soul at peace is told, "Return to your Lord, well-pleased and well-pleasing" (89:27–28). Name lists give Marzia as "pleasing to God" or "content", in line with the dictionary. The name is used by Muslim families across India; it has no link to the Italian name Marzia.
