Naeema meaning
Naeema (نعیمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Enjoyment, delight, pleasure; ease and plenty
Also used to mean: blissful, happy, contented
Naeema (نعیمہ) is the feminine of Naeem, from Arabic naʿīm and the root n-ʿ-m, which carries ideas of ease and good things. Lane's lexicon defines naʿīm as enjoyment, delight or pleasure, and as a life of plenty and ease; the same root gives niʿma, "a blessing or favour", the source of Urdu niʿmat. The Quran uses naʿīm for the bliss of the righteous (82:13). Name lists give Naeema as "blissful", "happy" or "contented", close to the dictionary. It is also written Naima, and Naeem is the matching boys' name.
