Suhana meaning
Suhana (سہانا) is a Muslim and Hindu girl's name of Hindi origin (Urdu usage).
Pleasing, charming, attractive, agreeable, graceful
Also used to mean: pleasant, beautiful
Suhana (سہانا, सुहाना) is the everyday Hindi and Urdu word suhānā, as in a suhānā mausam, pleasant weather. Platts's dictionary defines it as giving pleasure, pleasing, charming, attractive, agreeable or graceful, and traces it through Prakrit to Sanskrit words for beauty and adornment. Name lists give Suhana as "pleasant" or "charming", in line with the dictionary; some sites suggest an Arabic origin, but we found no Arabic word behind it. The name is used by Muslim and Hindu families, and Suhana Khan, an actress, bears it.
