Musarrat meaning
Musarrat (مسرت) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Joy, gladness; a cause of happiness
Musarrat (مسرت) is the Urdu form of the Arabic masarra, from the root s-r-r, "to gladden". Lane's lexicon gives masarra as a noun of sarrahu, "he made him glad", and as anything that makes a person happy or joyful; the related surūr is happiness, joy or gladness, the opposite of grief. In Urdu musarrat is an everyday literary word for joy, as in the phrase bāʿis-e-musarrat, "a cause of happiness". Name lists give the meaning as "joy" or "happiness", matching the dictionary. The name is also spelled Masarrat or Musarrath.
