Anoosha meaning
Anoosha (انوشہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin.
Fortunate, happy, blessed; prosperous
Also used to mean: immortal, sweet
Anoosha (انوشہ) is Persian anūsha. Steingass' Persian dictionary defines it as fortunate, happy, blessed and prosperous, notes that it was also used as a greeting of welcome, and records it as the name of a royal lady of ancient Iran. Name lists often give Anoosha as "immortal", from the related Persian anōsh, "deathless", as well as "happy". It is used by Muslim families in Pakistan and India. It is a different name from the Hindu Anusha, which comes from Sanskrit.
