Labiba meaning
Labiba (لبیبہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Intelligent, sensible; a woman of understanding (feminine of labīb)
Labiba (لبیبہ) is the feminine of the Arabic labīb, from the root l-b-b. Lane's lexicon defines labīb as a person of understanding or intelligence and notes that the feminine takes -a. The root word lubb means the kernel of a nut or the heart of a palm, and so the inmost part of a person, the mind; the Quran often addresses ulu l-albāb, "people of understanding" (3:190). Name lists give Labiba as "intelligent" or "wise", in line with the dictionary. It is the female counterpart of Labeeb.
