Hawwa meaning
Hawwa (حوا) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic form of Hebrew Ḥavvāh origin (Eve).
Eve, the first woman; Hebrew Ḥavvāh, 'life-giver'
Also used to mean: mother of mankind
Hawwa (حوا) is the Arabic name of Eve, the wife of Adam and, in Muslim tradition, the mother of humankind. The Quran speaks of her only as Adam's wife; the name Ḥawwāʾ comes from hadith and later writings. Strong's concordance glosses the Hebrew form, Ḥavvāh, as "life-giver". In Arabic, Lane's lexicon records ḥawwāʾ as an adjective for a woman with dark reddish-brown lips, a feature that was admired, though this is not usually given as the name's origin. Name lists give "mother of mankind" or "life".
