Naila meaning
Naila (نائلہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
(root n-y-l) obtaining, attaining; what one obtains of another's bounty
Also used to mean: attainer, achiever, successful
Naila (نائلہ) is the Arabic nāʾila, the feminine of nāʾil, from the verb nāla, "to obtain or attain". Lane's lexicon gives nāla as he obtained or attained something, and nayl and nāʾil as what one gains from another's generosity. Name lists give Naila as "one who attains" or "successful", which follows the verb. A famous early bearer was Nāʾila bint al-Furāfiṣa, a wife of the third caliph ʿUthmān, who was with him at his death in 656 and later related what she had witnessed. The name is used by Muslim families from India to North Africa.
