Karima meaning
Karima (کریمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Generous, noble, honourable; precious, highly valued
Karima (کریمہ) is the feminine of the Arabic karīm, from the root k-r-m. Lane's lexicon defines karīm as generous, liberal, honourable and noble, and, of a thing, as highly prized, excellent or precious. Al-Karīm, "the Most Generous", is one of the names of God, and the Quran often uses karīm for something noble or honoured, such as "a noble provision". Karima al-Marwaziyya, an eleventh-century scholar of hadith in Mecca, was a celebrated teacher of Sahih al-Bukhari. Name lists give the meaning as "generous" or "noble", in line with the dictionary.
