Raheema meaning
Raheema (رحیمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Merciful, compassionate (feminine of raḥīm, 'having much mercy')
Raheema is the feminine of Arabic raḥīm, from the root r-ḥ-m, 'mercy'. Lane's lexicon explains raḥīm as an intensive form, 'having much mercy', and notes that, unlike al-Raḥmān, which is used of God alone, raḥīm is applied to people as well; the related raḥūm is used in the same sense of both men and women. Al-Raḥīm, 'the Most Merciful', is one of the names of God and is heard in the opening words of the Quran, 'In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful'. Baby-name lists give 'merciful', 'kind' or 'compassionate', the dictionary sense. The masculine form is Raheem.
