Haleema meaning
Haleema (حلیمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Forbearing, gentle, mild (feminine of ḥalīm)
Also used to mean: patient, mild-mannered
Haleema (حلیمہ) is the feminine of Arabic ḥalīm, from the root ḥ-l-m. Lane's lexicon defines ḥalīm as having ḥilm, that is forbearance or clemency, and explains al-Ḥalīm, "the Forbearing", as a name of God who is not hurried into anger by those who disobey. Name lists give Haleema as "gentle" or "patient". The name is loved for Halima al-Saʿdiyya, the Bedouin woman who nursed the Prophet Muhammad as a baby.
