Huda meaning
Huda (ہدیٰ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Right guidance; following a right direction
Also used to mean: right path
Huda (ہدیٰ) is Arabic hudā, "guidance", from the root h-d-y, "to guide". Lane's lexicon gives the phrase huwa ʿalā hudan, "he is following a right direction", and notes that al-hudā is used for the Quran itself. Near its opening the Quran describes itself as "guidance for the God-fearing" (2:2). Name lists give Huda as "guidance" or "right path", matching the dictionary. The Egyptian campaigner Huda Shaarawi was an early leader of the women's movement in the Arab world.
