Malak meaning
Malak (ملک) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
An angel; a messenger of God
Malak (ملک) is the Arabic malak, "angel". Lane's lexicon explains that malak is held to come from maʾlak and aluk, "a message", so that an angel is literally one who carries God's message; malāʾika, the plural, is the familiar Urdu word for angels. The Quran uses malak many times, as in 6:8. It should not be confused with malik, "king", or mulk, "country", which look the same in Urdu script without vowel marks. Name lists give Malak as "angel", in line with the dictionary. In India the name is given to girls.
