Badia meaning
Badia (بدیعہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
A new and admirable thing; wonderful, without precedent
Also used to mean: unique, marvellous
Badia (بدیعہ) is the feminine of Arabic badīʿ, from the root b-d-ʿ, "to bring into being for the first time". Lane's lexicon gives badīʿ as something originated or made new, with nothing like it before, and badīʿa as a new and admirable, wonderful thing, especially a fine turn of speech or verse. The Quran calls God badīʿ as-samāwāti wa-l-arḍ, "Originator of the heavens and the earth" (2:117), and al-Badīʿ is among His names. Name lists give Badia as "wonderful", "unique" or "marvellous".
