Rukhsar meaning
Rukhsar (رخسار) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin.
The cheek; the face
Also used to mean: beautiful face, rosy cheeks
Rukhsar (رخسار) is the Persian word rukhsār, which Steingass glosses as the cheek, or the face and its appearance. Rekhta's Urdu dictionary gives the same: the cheek and, by extension, the face, so the word is as much at home in Urdu as in Persian. Name lists today render the name "beautiful face" or "rosy cheeks". Those are the meanings many families use; the dictionary word itself means simply cheek or face, and "beautiful" and "rosy" are added in the way the name is understood. The name is used by Muslim families in India and Pakistan and is also spelled Rukhsaar or Ruksar.
