Aroosa meaning
Aroosa (عروسہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (via Persian and Urdu).
A bride
Also used to mean: beautiful
Aroosa (عروسہ), also spelled Arusa or Uroosa, is Persian ʿarūsa, "a bride", from the Arabic ʿarūs. Steingass' Persian dictionary defines ʿarūs as a bride or bridegroom, "a bride when carried home to her husband's house", gives ʿarūsa as a bride, and ʿarūsī as a wedding feast. Name lists give Aroosa as "bride" and often add "beautiful", an idea that comes from the image of a bride rather than from the word itself. It is used mostly by Urdu-speaking families in Pakistan and India.
