Arooba meaning
Arooba (عروبہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
A woman who shows love to her husband
Also used to mean: loving wife, cherished woman
Arooba (عروبہ) comes from Arabic ʿarūb, from the root ʿ-r-b. Lane's lexicon defines ʿarūb as a woman who shows her love for her husband and is devoted to him, and notes other senses such as one who laughs a great deal; some authorities even gave it the opposite sense, which Lane also records. The plural ʿurub appears in the Quran (56:37) in a description of the companions of Paradise. Name lists give Arooba as "loving" or "a woman cherished by her husband", close to the dictionary. The shorter Aroob is used in the same sense.
