Ibrahim meaning
Ibrahim (ابراہیم) is a Muslim and international boy's name of Hebrew origin (via Arabic).
The prophet Abraham; the Hebrew name means 'father of a multitude'
Ibrahim (ابراہیم) is Ibrāhīm, the Quranic form of Abraham. The Quran names him in many places, including 2:124, where God makes him a leader (imām) for mankind, and Surah 14 bears his name. The Arabic dictionaries give no Arabic meaning for the name. For the Hebrew form, Strong's Concordance gives "father of a multitude", and name lists today say much the same, often as "father of nations". Abraham is revered in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. In Muslim tradition he and his son Ismāʿīl built the Kaaba in Mecca, and Eid al-Adha recalls the ram that ransomed his son. In Indian history the name was borne by Ibrahim Lodi, the last Lodi sultan of Delhi, who was killed at the First Battle of Panipat in 1526.
