Kuheli meaning
Kuheli (कुहेली) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage). By its first sound, कु, it is a Mithun rashi name (Ardra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Fog, mist
Kuheli (कुहेली) is a Bengali girls' name meaning "mist". The Samsad Bengali dictionary lists kuhelikā, kuheli and kuhelī together as fog or mist, and gives related adjectives for something misty or, figuratively, mysterious and hard to see into. The longer form appears in Sanskrit too, where Monier-Williams records kuhelikā. The word has a strong literary flavour in Bengali: Kuheli is the title of a well-known 1971 Bengali suspense film by Tarun Majumdar. As a name it suggests a soft, misty winter morning.
