Sahasra meaning
Sahasra (सहस्रा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Telugu usage).
A thousand; any very large number
Also used to mean: infinite
Sahasra (सहस्रा) is the Sanskrit number sahasra, "a thousand". Monier-Williams notes that it is also used for any very large number, and that in Vedic hymns "a thousand" often stands for a thousand cows or gifts, a measure of great wealth. The word runs through Hindu devotional life: the Vishnu Sahasranama and the Lalita Sahasranama are hymns of a thousand names, and the sahasrāra is the thousand-petalled lotus of yoga. Name lists give Sahasra as "thousand" or "infinite"; the second is a reading of "any very large number". As a girl's name it is used mainly in Telugu-speaking families.
