Sahiba meaning
Sahiba (صاحبہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
(feminine of ṣāḥib) a companion, friend; a lady, mistress
Sahiba (صاحبہ) is the feminine of Arabic ṣāḥib. Lane's lexicon defines ṣāḥib as a companion, comrade or friend, and also as a lord or master, the owner of anything; its plural aṣḥāb is the word used for the Companions of the Prophet. In Urdu the masculine became the familiar title "sahib", and Platts gives ṣāḥiba as a lady, mistress or dame, and also a wife. Name lists give Sahiba as "friend" or "companion", and some as "lady", all senses found in the dictionaries.
