Sahiti meaning
Sahiti (साहिती) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Telugu usage). By its first sound, सा, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
From sāhitya: union, harmony; literary composition, poetry
Also used to mean: literature, companionship
Sahiti (साहिती, Telugu సాహితి) is a modern name formed from Sanskrit sāhitya. Monier-Williams gives sāhitya first as association, union or combination, then as agreement or harmony, and in works on poetics as literary or rhetorical composition and poetry. The sense of literature is the one that survives in Hindi, Telugu and other Indian languages today, and name lists give Sahiti as "literature", sometimes adding "companionship" from the older sense of union. The form sāhitī is not itself a dictionary headword, so the name should be read as a modern feminine built on sāhitya. It is used mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, also spelled Sahithi.
