Sarvamangala meaning
Sarvamangala (सर्वमंगला) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Kannada usage).
Universally auspicious; a name of Durgā and of Lakṣmī
Also used to mean: all-auspicious, source of all auspiciousness
Sarvamangala (सर्वमंगला) joins sarva, "all", and maṅgala, "auspicious". Monier-Williams gives the compound as "universally auspicious" and records Sarvamaṅgalā as a name of Durga and also of Lakshmi. Many Hindus know it from the prayer that begins "Sarvamangala mangalye, Shive sarvartha sadhike", addressed to the goddess as the auspiciousness of everything auspicious. Name lists give "all-auspicious" or "source of all auspiciousness". It is a traditional girls' name, especially in Karnataka.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Durga.
