Sitaram meaning
Sitaram (सीताराम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, सी, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Sītā and Rāma (dual); also a man's name
Also used to mean: sita and rama
Sitaram (सीताराम) joins the names of Sītā and Rāma, the heroine and hero of the Ramayana, and so honours the divine couple together. Monier-Williams records sītā-rāma in the dual as "Sītā and Rāma", and also as a man's name borne by various authors. The pair's name is a devotional chant, and "Sita Ram" is still used as a greeting in parts of the Hindi-speaking north, especially in Awadh, Bhojpur and Mithila. Name lists give the meaning simply as Sita and Rama, matching the dictionary. In the south the same name is often spelt Seetharam or Sitarama.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Ram.
