Tejomay meaning
Tejomay (तेजोमय) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, ते, it is a Tula rashi name (Vishakha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Consisting of splendour or light; shining, brilliant
Also used to mean: filled with light, glorious
Tejomay (तेजोमय) is the Sanskrit tejomaya, "made of light". It joins tejas, a rich word that Monier-Williams gives as glow, brilliance, light and fire, and also fiery energy, spirit and majesty, with -maya, "made of" or "full of". Monier-Williams gives tejomaya itself as consisting of splendour or light, shining and brilliant, citing the Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa, the Upaniṣads and Manu. Name lists give Tejomay as "filled with light" or "glorious", in line with the dictionary. Bengali families often write it Tejomoy.
