Aamil meaning
Aamil (عامل) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
A worker or doer; an agent or governor
Also used to mean: one who strives
Aamil (عامل) is the Arabic ʿāmil, the active participle of ʿamila, "to work, to do". Lane's lexicon gives it as a worker or labourer and anyone who does or makes something, and, in the language of government, an official such as a governor, a tax collector or an agent. Name lists today give Aamil as "worker" or "one who strives", which stays close to the dictionary. The same root gives ʿamal, "deed, action", a word that runs through the Quran's many references to good deeds.
