Hadi meaning
Hadi (ہادی) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
One who guides; a guide (active participle of hadā, 'he guided')
Also used to mean: leader to the right path
Hadi (ہادی) is Arabic hādī, the active participle of hadā, "to guide". Lane's lexicon explains hadā as guiding a person to the right way, and gives hudā for right guidance and the Quran itself. Hādī is therefore "one who guides", and al-Hādī, "the Guide", is one of the names of God: the Quran says "your Lord is enough as a guide and a helper" (25:31). Name lists give "guide" or "one who leads to the right path", which matches the word. Indian families use Hadi on its own and in Abdul Hadi, "servant of the Guide".
