Nizam meaning
Nizam (نظام) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Order, arrangement; the standard or support that keeps a thing in order
Also used to mean: system, discipline
Nizam (نظام) is the Arabic niẓām, from naẓama, "to string beads or pearls". Lane's lexicon gives niẓām as the standard by which a thing is regulated, the foundation or support of something, and a settled way or course of conduct. In Urdu, Platts records niẓām as order, disposition and arrangement, and also as a governor or administrator, as in the title Nizam-ul-Mulk. Platts also gives the word as the title of the ruler of Hyderabad in the Deccan, the Nizam. Name lists give Nizam as "order" or "system", matching the dictionaries.
