Baseer meaning
Baseer (بصیر) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Seeing; perceptive, knowing, intelligent; al-Baṣīr, the All-Seeing, a name of God
Also used to mean: insightful, discerning
Baseer (بصیر) is Arabic baṣīr, from the root b-ṣ-r, "to see". Lane's lexicon defines it first as seeing and then as endowed with mental perception: knowing, skilful and intelligent. Al-Baṣīr, "the All-Seeing", is one of the names of God in the Quran, which is why the compound Abdul Baseer is also used. Name lists give the meaning as "insightful" or "perceptive", which matches the dictionary's second sense. Steingass records the same word in Persian as clear-sighted and intelligent.
