Aleem meaning
Aleem (علیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Learned, knowing; as al-ʿAlīm, the All-Knowing
Also used to mean: knowledgeable, wise
Aleem (علیم) is the Arabic ʿalīm, from the root ʿ-l-m, "to know", which also gives ʿilm, "knowledge". Lane's lexicon defines it as one whose knowledge is firmly rooted, learned or versed in a science; as al-ʿAlīm it is one of the names of God, the Omniscient, who knows all things completely. The angels use it in the Quran: "You are the All-Knowing, the All-Wise" (2:32). The full form Abdul Aleem means "servant of the All-Knowing", while Aleem alone is read as "learned" or "wise".
