Faheem meaning
Faheem (فہیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Having much understanding; intelligent
Faheem (فہیم) is Arabic fahīm, from the root f-h-m, "to understand". Lane's lexicon defines it as having much understanding, an intensive form of the adjective. The same root gives the noun fahm, "understanding", and the Quran uses its verb in 21:79, where God made Solomon understand the right judgment in a dispute. Name lists give "intelligent" or "understanding", which matches the dictionary. In India the name is also spelled Fahim, and it appears in longer forms such as Faheemuddin.
