Mustaqeem meaning
Mustaqeem (مستقیم) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Upright, straight, direct; honest, faithful, resolute
Mustaqeem (مستقیم) is the Arabic mustaqīm, from qāma, "to stand". Platts's Urdu dictionary defines it as upright or standing straight; right, straight or direct; and, of a person, honest, faithful, loyal and resolute. The word is best known from the opening chapter of the Quran, where believers ask to be guided to al-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm, "the straight path" (1:6). Name lists give the meaning as "upright" or "straight", matching the dictionary. Mustaqim is another spelling.
