Kafeel meaning
Kafeel (کفیل) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
One who is responsible or answerable; a sponsor, surety
Also used to mean: guarantor, protector
Kafeel (کفیل) is the Arabic kafīl, from kafala, "to be responsible for". Lane's lexicon defines kafīl as one who is responsible or answerable, a sponsor or surety, and explains kafala bi-l-māl as standing guarantee for property owed by someone else. The Quran uses the word in 16:91, reminding believers that when they swear an oath they have made God their guarantor. Name lists give Kafeel as "guarantor", "sponsor" or "protector". The same root gives kafāla, which Lane defines as responsibility or suretyship.
