Nazeef meaning
Nazeef (نظیف) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
Clean, pure; neat
Nazeef (نظیف) is the Arabic naẓīf, from the root n-ẓ-f, "to be clean". Platts's Urdu dictionary gives it simply as clean, pure and neat, and the same root gives naẓāfat, "cleanliness", an everyday Urdu word. Name lists give Nazeef as "clean" or "pure", sometimes extended to "chaste" or "virtuous", which is a figurative reading of the same idea. The feminine form is Nazeefa. Names such as Naqi and Tahir carry a similar meaning.
